TVB Transport is the result of two strong companies with a rich history: TVB Transport and SVB Transport Group. Both organisations have earned their spurs in the world of transport and logistics, each with their own story, specialisations and growth.
By 2024, these two lines will have converged into one future-proof organisation.
From our joint location in Poeldijk (ABC Westland), we now combine our strengths and knowledge. Together, we continue to build an organisation that is firmly rooted in the past, but fully focused on the future of conditioned transport.

TVB Transport history
Establishment of Ton van Bergen B.V.
Ton van Bergen B.V. was established in 1972. We started transporting fresh produce from growers to the auction in Naaldwijk. Due to growing demand, we quickly expanded our fleet, starting with an agricultural tractor unit. This laid the foundation for what TVB Transport is today.
Location on Casembrootlaan, Poeldijk
From 1972 to 1990, Poeldijk was our home base, where we had the opportunity to expand.
Moving to Vlotlaan, Monster
Our location on Casembrootlaan became too small due to increasing transport traffic from the horticultural sector, which led to the expansion of our fleet of vehicles and a move to a larger location. So we moved to the industrial estate on Vlotlaan in Monster, where we further expanded our facilities.
Takeover by Troy Heemskerk and Maurits Hallo
Ton van Bergen decided to ensure the future of the company and staff by transferring the business to Troy Heemskerk and Maurits Hallo. With their logistics background and experience in fleet and planning management, they fulfilled their dream by taking over the renowned company.
SVB Transport Group history
The foundations for SVB are being laid
In March 1992, André Spruyt and Hans de Bloois joined forces. Their cooperation forms the basis for the 'S' and the 'B' in the name SVB Transportgroep. Their shared vision of reliability and customer orientation forms the core of the organisation.
Birth of SVB Transport Group
In 2000, the company merged with transport company Martin Vrijman. This step marks the official establishment of SVB Transport Group as we know it.
New leadership and growing team
Since 2003, Martin Vrijman and André Spruyt have together formed the executive duo of SVB Transport Group. Under their leadership, the team grows to almost 30 permanent employees. During peak periods, they work with a reliable network of on-call employees. The philosophy remains unchanged: optimal service at a fair price.
Merger
Merger with SVB Transport Group
Since 1 January 2024, TVB Transport and SVB Transportgroep have merged and continued together under the name TVB Transport. The companies now operate from SVB's location in Poeldijk (ABC Westland). This merger strengthens our position in conditioned groupage transport for both domestic and international transport of, among others, fruit and vegetables. Moreover, we have increased our fleet by 30 units, enabling us to operate even more flexibly and efficiently.

Today, TVB Transport is a specialist in conditioned transport, with more than 50 years of experience and a fleet of 75 units. We drive daily, both within the Netherlands and internationally, making sure your goods get from A to B safely and on time. Our core values: communication, decisiveness, commitment and honesty, form the basis of everything we do. Whether it concerns conditioned transport, courier services, container transport or groupage, we always offer a suitable solution for your cargo.

Our drivers play a crucial role; they ensure safe and on-time delivery every day, regardless of the challenges. Our planners guarantee efficiency, ensure optimal routes and keep communication running smoothly. But our office staff, administration, technical service and IT also contribute to success. Together, we ensure that we can move quickly and always offer the right solution for every transport request. And as you can see in the photos, generations work together at our company, with family members following in each other's footsteps.
