Your role as transport planner
As a Transport Planner, you play an important role in efficiently managing our transport activities. You are responsible for planning and optimising trips, coordinating transports and monitoring the progress of shipments. Our goal is to transport more with fewer transport movements. Therefore, if required, you look for additional loads and ensure that we do not travel unnecessary distances. You will work closely with various teams within the company and external partners to ensure that our transport runs smoothly.

What are your duties?

• Planning and monitoring transports within the Netherlands;
• Optimising routes and loads;
• Communicating with drivers and customers about trips and changes;
• Solving operational challenges;
• Identify improvement opportunities in planning.

What do we expect from you?

• You have experience in (transport) planning, or similar position;
• You are a team player with good communication skills;
• You have a good command of Dutch and English;
• Has organisational talent and is stress-resistant;
• Is a problem solver and copes well with changing situations;
• Has a passion for logistics and transport;
• A customer-oriented attitude - you ensure the best possible customer experience.
